São Paulo, the largest city in Brazil and one of the most populous in the world, serves as a vibrant cultural and economic hub in South America. Located in the southeastern part of the country, São Paulo is nestled on a plateau surrounded by hills.

Ibirapuera Park, one of the largest urban parks in the world, is a favorite spot for both locals and tourists. The São Paulo Museum of Art (MASP), located on the famous Avenida Paulista, is one of the most important art museums in Latin America, with an extensive collection of Western and modern art. The Liberdade district is the heart of the city’s large Japanese community, offering a wide range of Japanese restaurants, shops, and cultural events. The city’s Italian influence is evident in neighborhoods like Bixiga, which is known for its Italian restaurants and festivals, while the Bohemian Vila Madalena district is famous for its street art, lively bars, and music scene.

São Paulo is famous for its street food, such as pastel (fried pastries filled with meat or cheese) and coxinha (fried dough filled with chicken), as well as its vibrant restaurant scene offering dishes from all over the world, including Italian, Japanese, Lebanese, and Brazilian cuisine.
