During my recent trip to Frankfurt, I had the opportunity to visit the Frankfurt Zoo, one of Europe’s oldest and most renowned zoological parks. Established in 1858, this historic zoo spans an impressive 13 hectares and is home to over 4,500 animals from 450 species. While there are several cafes and food stalls inside the zoo where you can grab a bite to eat, I recommend bringing your own snacks and drinks, especially if you plan to spend several hours exploring. The zoo has plenty of scenic spots where you can take a break and enjoy a picnic while watching the animals.
