During my visit to Montreal, one place that I couldn’t miss was the Montreal Archaeology and History Museum. This museum, established in 1992, is not just a museum, but also a historical site built on an actual archaeological dig. It is located in the heart of Old Montreal, at the birthplace of the city. The museum offers a unique opportunity to explore Montreal’s history from its earliest days to the present. As I walked through the museum, I could feel the weight of history all around me.
